EAST FISHKILL, N.Y.-International Business Machines Corp. said it has added two new chip technologies known as Radio Frequency CMOS and an enhanced silicon germanium to its pool of offerings to manufacture mixed-signal and radio-frequency devices for applications such as cell phones, wireless LANs, GPS receivers, two-way pagers and Bluetooth.
“The two process technologies offer customers more flexibility in balancing RF/analog and digital components in their designs, while optimizing for performance, power consumption and cost,” said the company.
