LISLE, Ill.-Tellabs said it won a contract to supply its MartisDXX managed access and transport network solution to EuroTel Bratislava, which provides Global System for Mobile communications, Nordic Mobile Telephone communications and packet data services throughout the Slovak Republic.
The MartisDXX solution is being deployed in the backbone network to allow the operator to deliver the mix of services over a single, managed transport platform. Tellabs also plans to supply its MartisDXX GMU synchronous digital hierarchy interface units, which will be used to provide high capacity, efficient backbone connections in the EuroTel network, said the Lisle, Ill.-based company.
