The Wyndham Anatole convention hotel in Dallas said it plans to install Sprint Corp. high-speed wireless and wired Internet access in common areas and 315,000 square feet of total meeting space, and install wired Internet access in its 1,614 guestrooms.

The Sprint Guest Online system will be available to all of the hotel’s rooms using Cisco Long Reach Ethernet broadband access technology and Cisco’s Aironet 1200 Series wireless local area network access points to deliver wireless Internet access to the hotel’s meeting space and common areas.

In Europe, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced a partnership with T-Mobile International to provide Wi-Fi access in 99 of Starwood’s European hotels beginning with a launch at London’s Park Lane Hotel scheduled for later this month.

T-Mobile said it plans to have 5,000 wireless hot spots globally by the end of this year.
